The Tree Stories documentary series is an invitation to meet the most incredible trees from all over the world. The greatness of the trees is unveiled through the stories told by people who live around them, showing how different cultures in both hemispheres share this natural and universal heritage.

For their longevity, their outstanding dimensions, the legends they inspired, the memories passed through generations, these trees are remarkable. But they also exist thanks to the men who remarked them, care about them and look after them.

The high-quality production of the series reveals the trees’ magnificence through an unprecedented journey from their roots to their top (using drones, time-lapses, fitted machinery). Testimonies men and women having developed strong ties with the trees help create a connection between the human world and the plant kingdom.

The series emphasizes the outstanding diversity of tree species by focusing on a pair of trees in two different countries in each episode, from the Baobab in Senegal and the Redwood in the United States, to the Indian Banyan tree and the Monkey puzzle tree of Chile, as well as the giant Cypress in Mexico an the Japanese Cherry tree.
