Each summer, one hundred musicians freshly graduated from conservatoires hoping to become professionals, arrive in Dijon for the summer session of the French Youth Orchestra. They are literally plunged into the life of a member of a symphonic orchestra, led by a renowned conductor. Having passed the entrance examination, we follow them from their first rehearsals to the evening of the concert. We share their fears and joys and we admire these young people working hard to fulfil their dream.

{We do not tell them “good luck” but the expression before going on stage “toï” to which they should answer “toï toï” or “toï toï toï”…}
