In the 50s, the parents of Laurence, who was born with multiple disabilities, found out how difficult it is to make themselves heard and helped. Like thousands of others, their daughter was doomed to live as a recluse and her parents to live in loneliness. Thanks to their struggle, care centers help severely handicapped children to grow and change the way they are seen by others. Laurence will not have been born in vain.
