“I may return to my mum… but it won’t get any better within the year…” Killiams says that with a certain detachment. Killiams, Tristan and Laura are all sharing the same experience of teenage years shattered by family sufferings. They live with other teenagers in an institution in the heart of the Vosgian forest. All of them have been placed here by the social services. Some of them are pre-deliquent teens. Zarah, Vero, Stephane and the rest of the educators team have an unwavering faith in those teenagers which have completely given up and seem set up for failure.
