Maguy Marin, woman of conviction, free and passionate, is a choregrapher who dares express with force and clarity, with outrageousness ans incitement sometimes, in order for her audience to understand her clearly.

“Maguy Marin, the hidden dance” leads us into her world. Through her latest five plays : Umwelt, Ha Ha!, Ca quand même, Turba and Grosse Fugue (four of which created since she moved into the center of Rilleux la Pape housing projects, in Lyon’s suburbs), we can see how she moves forward and how she resists, how her work is being crossed over by the world surrounding it, in a never-ending interior/exterior movement.
