A concert featuring all the art of Mozart, served by musicians with unparalleled complicity.On March 23, 1783, all Vienna rushes to the prestigious Burgtheater. Mozart has programmed a mixture of symphonies and concertos lasting more than 3 hours and which gives pride of place to the tunes of great expressive virtuosity. An amazing concert dedicated to two sopranos: Sisters Aloysia and Josepha Weber, for whom he will write his great masterpieces. We know Mozart's connections with the Weber family - he will marry Constanze after being spurned by Aloysia, his sister, and it is for Josepha that he will write the role of the Queen of the Night of the "Magic Flute".

Three centuries later, at the Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne, Raphaël Pichon plays the Burgtheater concert in his own way. With his orchestra, Ensemble Pygmalion, he has created a showcase for the art of soprano Sabine Devieilhe. The program of the concert is a clever balance between short orchestral pieces, operatic arias and, according to a practice widespread in the eighteenth century, virtuosic tunes written to highlight the voice of the singer.
